Data Center Engineer

About the Role

We’re seeking a versatile, hands-on Data Center Engineer—a true “Swiss Army knife” professional—who thrives in dynamic environments and can take ownership of projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, solving complex problems on the data hall floor, and driving real outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end data center infrastructure projects
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Perform hands-on work in the data hall, including racking, cabling, and troubleshooting
• Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and transceivers
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations
• Monitor and optimize fiber optic connectivity and hardware performance
• Document processes, configurations, and project outcomes

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data center operations or engineering
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and interface with customers
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and cabling
• Experience with network hardware and protocols

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Juniper and Arista networking equipment
• Experience with fiber optics and transceiver technologies
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of monitoring and configuration management tools
