Job Summary
Custodian-10 month
Reports to: Building Principal
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs general cleaning duties as assigned.
- Inspects daily his/her assigned area(s) to ascertain that a high level of cleanliness and safety exists.
- Shall be alert for equipment malfunctions or other maintenance related problems and make minor repairs, and/or report maintenance problems to the head custodian.
- Takes necessary action to insure building security.
- Promotes district-wide efforts in energy conservation.
- Promotes and contributes to the general welfare of students.
- Performs other duties assigned by the head custodian or the building principal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must relate well with students, staff and community and maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to follow oral and written directions
