Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their visit
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages, smoothies, wraps, and snacks following company recipes and food safety standards
- Operate POS systems for retail sales transactions and processing cash or card payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food handling protocols
- Manage retail sales transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling and register balancing
- Assist in food preparation tasks including ingredient assembly, portioning, and food safety compliance
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking with serving, beverage service, and cleaning duties
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the shift, and perform light lifting as needed
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Experience in beverage preparation or barista roles is advantageous but not mandatory
