JOB SUMMARY: Sycamores is a family services agency dedicated to supporting low-income at-risk youth and adults. As an LVN or LPT at Sycamores you will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team including nurses, therapists, youth specialists, psychiatrists, and other professionals to provide for the treatment of the youth and adults in our care.
The Medication Support Services team is a team of professionals who work together to meet the individuals enrolled in our services. The role of the LVN/ LPT includes conducting medical assessments of patients prior to seeing the psychiatrist, assisting the psychiatrist with appointments, monitoring side effects, ordering tests or lab work, managing court documentation, scheduling medical appointments, working with pharmacies, and maintaining accurate client records. The LVN/ LPT collaborates with multiple stakeholders, including County Social Workers, Probation Officers, families, and Public Health Nurses, among others.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current license as an LVN or LPT
- Acceptable driving record
- 1 year experience working with at-risk youth.
- Group home or residential treatment work preferred.
- Basic knowledge regarding psychotropic medications
