What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing (DON) position at Sycamore Run Nursing & Rehabilitation Center?
Sycamore Run, a skilled nursing facility located in Millersburg, Ohio, is currently seeking a skilled and professional Director of Nursing - RN to join our dedicated management team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- direction coordination & evaluation of nursing care services provided to the residents.
- Implementing nursing services, objections and standards; resolving resident care issues.
- Ensuring compliance with all State & Federal guidelines.
- Ensuring all confidentiality and privacy rights of residents are observed & enforced.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents residing in the facility
The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care, long term care or geriatric supervisor and management experience in a Medicaid/Medicare certified facility
- Must have excellent computer and communication skills.
- Must be able to follow all established Federal, State and Local rules, regulations and guidelines.
