Job Overview
Sycamore Place Apartments is looking for a reliable and motivated Temporary Maintenance Assistant to help prepare our apartment community for our busy student move-in season. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for short-term work and hands-on experience in apartment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with apartment turns and move-in preparations
- Paint, clean, and perform basic repairs as needed
- Help move appliances, furniture, and maintenance supplies
- Complete general groundskeeping and property cleanup
- Work alongside the maintenance team to ensure apartments are move-in ready
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Maintenance experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must have reliable transportation
Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available to work August 1–14 with no scheduling conflicts, as these are our busiest move-in dates. Availability during the full employment period of July 25–August 14 is strongly preferred.
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
