Job Summary: Provides technical landscape and design assistance for projects. Maintains the appearance and condition of property grounds and landscape.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Operates all equipment necessary to complete job function.
- Install drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, fences and planters.
- Maintains irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring.
- Plan and cultivate lawns and gardens.
- Prune and trim trees, shrubs and hedges using shears, pruners and chain saws.
- Rake, mulch and compost leaves.
- Trim and pick flowers and clean flower beds.
- Weeding, brush clearing, pond(water feature) maintenance, gravel road maintenance.
- Water lawns, trees and plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses or watering cans.
- Build forms and mix and pour cement to form garden borders.
- Maintain and repair tools, equipment and structures such as fences and benches using power tools.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Must be able to work holidays, weekends and evenings
- Bilingual skill is a plus
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Calculate figures and amounts.
- Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in stressful situations
- Knowledge of landscape techniques
- Proficient in irrigation systems.
- Stand, sit and walk for long periods of time or an entire shift, repetitive motions, climb stairs, balance, stoop, squat, bend, twist, kneel, reach, grasp and squeeze with both hands. Talk or hear; taste or smell.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move, carry, push and pull up to 40lbs
