Rehabilitation Technician (Full-Time)
Position Overview
The Rehabilitation Technician plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring an exceptional rehabilitation experience. This position is responsible for supporting patients throughout their prescribed rehab programs, maintaining an efficient and organized rehab environment, and helping drive long-term patient satisfaction and retention.
You will work directly with patients to ensure proper execution of rehabilitation protocols while fostering a positive, encouraging, and service-oriented atmosphere.
Rehabilitation technician Responsibilities
- Execute prescribed exercise programs based on provider instructions
- Perform computerized range of motion assessments
- Guide and support patients through rehabilitation exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with clinic protocols
- Ensure smooth and efficient patient flow within the rehabilitation department
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all rehabilitation equipment and spaces
- Provide hands-on assistance to patients as needed
- Encourage adherence to treatment plans through motivation and education
- Deliver a consistently high level of personalized customer service
- Collect patient feedback, testimonials, and success stories
Rehabilitation technician Qualifications
- Strong patient service and care experience
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in rehabilitation, personal training, or related patient-facing roles
- Familiarity with orthopedic, neurological, and/or geriatric care preferred
- Experience in outpatient, sub-acute, or post-acute settings is a plus
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Education & Experience (Preferred)
- Background in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field
- 1 year of experience in personal training or rehabilitation support
Schedule
This is a full-time, hourly position. Candidates must be available for the following schedule:
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 12:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 12:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
