What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dental Assistant position at Sycamore Dental?
We are a high-end General Dentist Private Practice looking for an experienced Dental Assistant. This is not a corporate office or a clinic, we are a family owned, honest and quality practice. This is for a long term position.
2 years chairside dental assisting experience is mandatory.
We are fortunate to have a wonderful team that provides exceptional care and treatment to our patients. Our office has long-standing team members and is growing.
The ideal candidate is experienced and would be able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining professionalism. You would need to be personal, positive, motivated, and treat our patients like family. We perform most all aspects of dentistry, knowledge of multiple specialty procedures is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Screening patients during checkups
- Reviewing a patient’s dental history
- Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health and hygiene
- Chairside assisting
- Ability to make temporary restorations
- Digital scanning knowledge
- Dental terminology
- Patient care
- General dentistry
- HIPAA knowledge
- Knowledge of anatomy
- Infection control practices
- Sterilization knowledge
- Four handed dentistry skills
- Eaglesoft knowledge preferred.
- Documentation review skills
Pay: From 22$hr but also depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Thursday
