Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Duties
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Respond to IT support tickets and provide timely resolution to technical issues
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Maintain IT inventory and ensure equipment is in working condition
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth operation of all systems
- Document technical procedures and user guides for future reference
Requirements
- Proven experience in desktop support and help desk operations
- Familiarity with firewall, Jira, DNS, VPN, Active Directory, and ServiceNow
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
