Job Summary:
As an Information Technology Specialist, you'll provide essential technical support, maintain hardware and software systems, and ensure the seamless operation of our company's IT infrastructure. Join a dynamic team where your expertise helps drive efficiency and innovation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Delivering responsive technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving problems efficiently, and addressing IT-related questions.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, servers, network devices, and other IT equipment. Handle upgrades, repairs, and replacements as required.
- Deploy, configure, and update software applications, operating systems, and utilities. Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance and optimal usage.
- Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitor performance, troubleshoot connectivity, and implement robust security measures.
- Establish and manage data backup and recovery solutions to safeguard against data loss and support business continuity. Regularly test systems and perform restorations when necessary.
- Enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to defend against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Monitor security tools, conduct audits, and respond promptly to incidents.
- Train and guide end-users on IT topics, such as software usage, cybersecurity awareness, and company policies. Create and update IT documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and knowledge base articles.
- Manage vendor relationships, including procurement, contract negotiations, and performance reviews. Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and meet service-level agreements.
- Support IT projects from planning to execution, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Track and manage IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Maintain accurate inventories, perform audits, and optimize resource utilization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- 3 years of experience in IT support, administration, or a related role required.
- Strong technical expertise in hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices preferred.

Physical Demands:
