POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Studio Leader is a key member of the studio leadership team and the Studio Leader's right hand in running a high-performing, guest-obsessed SWTHZ location. You lead by example on the floor — driving membership sales, delivering exceptional hospitality, training, and supporting your team, and ensuring operational excellence in every interaction. This role is built for someone who is hungry, people-focused, and ready to grow into greater leadership responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Membership
- Sell memberships and services alongside the Studio Leader to achieve studio-specific monthly goals.
- Execute consistent lead follow-up, intro conversion, and upsell strategies.
- Actively contributes to daily revenue performance and team accountability.
- Support execution of community outreach and local marketing initiatives.
Guest Experience
- Deliver high-level hospitality and client service on every interaction.
- Oversee guest concerns and complaints promptly, professionally, and with a service-first mindset.
- Ensure the studio environment is consistently clean, welcoming, and on-brand.
- Drive member retention through relationship-building and an exceptional experience.
Team Support & Training
- Assist in training, coaching, and motivating Sales Associates and studio staff.
- Provide in-the-moment feedback and ongoing mentorship to the team.
- Model SWTHZ service standards and hold team accountable to them.
- Support onboarding of new team members.
Operations
- Complete all required administrative tasks on schedule, including Axle reporting, chemical testing logs (Chem Test), Intro Tracker updates, and any other operational documentation assigned by the District Manager or ownership.
- Assist with studio scheduling, inventory management, and supply ordering.
- Manage front-of-house and back-of-house cleanliness and readiness throughout each shift.
- Support accurate financial transactions, cash handling, and POS reporting.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as needed.
SUCCESS METRICS
Performance in this role is evaluated against the following indicators:
- Personal contribution to monthly membership sales goals.
- Intro-to-membership conversion performance.
- Guest experience and hospitality scores (Listen360/NPS).
- Secret shoppers visit results.
- Team morale and culture contribution.
- Operational compliance and shift readiness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of sales experience; membership sales experience strongly preferred.
- 1 year of supervisory, team-lead, or leadership experience.
- Strong customer service instincts and hospitality mindset.
- Ability to motivate a team and lead by example on the floor.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace; MindBody or CRM experience is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required.
