Main Line Technician - Swope Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

The technician will:

• Diagnose and perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Complete full multi-point inspections and provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to ensure efficient work flow.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
• Ability to provide clear communication and feedback about customer vehicles.
• Perform battery test when appropriate.
• Promote teamwork to deliver the best customer experience.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

• Prefer 1-3 years of experience on a main line in a service shop.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities and computer skills
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and treated with respect.
• Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area.
• Must maintain integrity, honesty, and work ethics.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing to include a background check and drug screen.
• Provide ASE Certifications and Chrysler Certifications where applicable.
