About the Role

• We are seeking a Full Stack Integration Engineer to design and build the next generation of video, audio, and image capture experiences for our digital reporting platform.
• In this role, you will lead the architecture and hands-on development of enterprise-scale microservices and dynamic frontends. You’ll sit at the intersection of modern cloud development and cutting-edge GenAI integrating Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Speech to power secure, real-time media processing and intelligent data extraction.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Node.js.
• Engineer services that handle video, audio, image, and document ingestion. Build integrations with Azure OpenAI, Azure Speech, and Document Intelligence for transcription, text-to-speech, and automated extraction.
• Architect secure, resilient solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging AKS, App Services, Blob Storage, and containerized workloads.
• Establish standards for scalable RESTful and event-driven integrations across platforms.
• Provide mentorship, lead code and architecture reviews, and guide cross-functional teams (Product, UX, DevOps, Security).
• Drive DevSecOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization, and strict data security compliance.

Key Requirements:

• 6-10 years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience hands-on development with Java and Spring Boot (microservices architecture).
• Experience with React and modern frontend architectures (state management, component-based design).
• Strong expertise with Node.js, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Proven experience building cloud-native solutions on MS Azure (AKS, App Services, Blob Storage, Azure Functions).
• Direct experience integrating AI/ML services (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Azure AI Speech, Cognitive Services, or similar).
• Deep knowledge of security/authorization frameworks, CI/CD, observability, and DevSecOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Background in audio, video, or image media streaming platforms.
• Experience with Kafka, WebSockets, or Azure Event Hub for real-time messaging.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Prior experience as a Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or Principal Engineer.
• Experience working in regulated industries (public safety, healthcare, government, or finance).
