Swoon is hiring a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist for a large Investments Management company in Irvine, CA.
Location : Irvine, CA, 3 days a week
Duration : 16 months
Title : Senior Strategic Sourcing Consultant
Pay rate : 85-90$ per hour, W2 only (C2C / 1099 not allowed)
What You'll Do :
As a Strategic Sourcing Professional, you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for enterprise SaaS-based applications, complex infrastructure, cloud services, networking, and global asset management delivery services.
Must-Have Skills :
- 7 years of strategic sourcing experience with a focus on SaaS-based enterprise applications and cloud technologies.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to manage RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and evaluate supplier proposals based on pricing, quality, and risk factors.
- Strong cloud / SaaS sourcing experience with a deep understanding of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies, and contract law.
- Experience in analyzing spend data, total cost of ownership (TCO), and cost modeling to optimize sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under limited supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, economics, or equivalent experience.
