Product Manager, Bank-to-Bank Payments - Remote - $155,000-$160,000

What if your next product role gave you more than a new roadmap to manage? Imagine having the opportunity to shape the direction of a growing payments business, build new capabilities on top of an established platform, and see a direct connection between your product decisions and the company's growth. That's the opportunity here.

An established payments technology company is expanding its money movement business following a recent acquisition. The product already has customers, working payment infrastructure, and established industry relationships. Now the company is investing in what comes next, opening the door for a Senior Product Manager to help expand the offering, uncover new use cases, and turn growing market demand into products that deliver real business value. You won't be inheriting a finished product and looking for minor improvements. You'll have the chance to help determine where it goes next.

This is a role for someone who enjoys the business and technical sides of product management equally. You'll get close to customers and partners, investigate transaction data, define product requirements, and work directly with Engineering to move ideas into production. You'll have ownership of your product area, but success will depend on how well you bring people together, challenge assumptions, and make sound decisions without waiting for someone else to map out every step. The environment is relatively casual, and the emphasis is on what you accomplish rather than how corporate you sound in a meeting.

Your payments expertise is what will help you make the most of the opportunity. You'll need hands-on experience with account-to-account or bank-to-bank payment methods such as ACH, RTP, FedNow, push-to-card, or open banking. You'll also need to understand the mechanics behind moving money, from settlement and reconciliation to ledger logic and returns. Combine that knowledge with commercial thinking, strong customer instincts, and practical use of AI tools, and you'll be positioned to help shape a product line with room to grow.

The easiest part of this job:

You won't have to prove that the product category has a place in the market. There's an existing platform, established customers, and payment infrastructure already in use. That gives you a foundation to learn from real transaction activity and customer needs while identifying the next opportunities worth pursuing.

The hardest part of this job:

You'll need to be comfortable creating direction rather than waiting for it. Customer requests, technical considerations, and commercial priorities won't always point to the same answer. You'll have to sort through the trade-offs, make a case for your decisions, and influence teams across the business without direct authority. If you enjoy taking ownership and making progress when things aren't perfectly defined, that independence is part of the appeal.

What's in it for you?
  • Competitive base salary of $155,000-$160,000
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match up to 4%
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Summer Fridays pilot from Memorial Day through Labor Day
  • Annual compensation reviews and merit increases
  • Remote work for eligible candidates across U.S. time zones
  • The opportunity to help expand an established payments platform into new capabilities and use cases

What you'll be doing:
  • Own the roadmap and execution for a defined area of money movement products
  • Work directly with customers and partners to understand their challenges and identify opportunities
  • Translate research and customer feedback into detailed product requirements
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, and go-to-market teams to deliver products from discovery through launch
  • Analyze transaction data and product performance to make informed prioritization decisions
  • Consider funds flows, settlement, reconciliation, ledger logic, and returns when developing product solutions
  • Evaluate opportunities based on customer value, technical feasibility, transaction volume, and revenue potential
  • Help develop new payment capabilities and use cases as the business expands
  • Incorporate AI tools into your product workflow
  • Communicate decisions clearly, challenge assumptions when necessary, and keep cross-functional work moving

What you need:
  • 5 years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years in payments or financial services
  • Hands-on experience with account-to-account or bank-to-bank payments, including ACH, RTP, FedNow, push-to-card, or open banking
  • Experience independently owning complex products from discovery through launch
  • Strong roadmap development and prioritization skills
  • Experience conducting customer and partner discovery
  • Understanding of payment flows, settlement, reconciliation, ledger logic, and return handling
  • The ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and work effectively with Engineering
  • A data-driven approach to product decisions and measuring results
  • Commercial instincts and an understanding of how product decisions affect revenue and transaction volume
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence people across teams
  • An independent, action-oriented approach to solving problems in an evolving environment
  • Comfort using AI tools as part of your product workflow

Experience with B2B embedded finance, payment-related SaaS, or products involving disbursements, collections, marketplaces, or other money movement use cases can be valuable, as can experience navigating a product integration following an acquisition.

If you're ready for a product role where you can put your payments knowledge to work, influence business direction, and help build what's next instead of simply maintaining what already exists, this could be the move worth making. Bring your ideas, take ownership, and help grow a product with real-world impact. Apply today!
