Job Title: LIMS Developer (LabVantage) – Remote | Flexible HoursIndustry: Global Healthcare & Medical Devices ManufacturingLocation- RemoteOverview:We are seeking an experienced LIMS Engineer with strong expertise in LabVantage (v8 ), SQL/Oracle, and environment setup & data cleansing. This role is fully remote with flexible working hours. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with system cloning, data sanitization, and validation within secure, regulated environments similar to those in the healthcare and medical device industry.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental Setup & System CloningConfigure environments and databases within a secure DMZ infrastructure to support data cleansing activities.Build and validate system readiness for cleansing and replication tasks.Develop data filtration scripts to filter and prepare data based on project requirements.Remove security groups, permissions, and security keys from cloned systems.Data CleansingAnalyze database structures and develop cleansing scripts for all relevant tables.Remove sensitive data related to defined sites, product codes, documents, attachments, and PII from cloned systems.Support continuous replication and ensure data integrity throughout the process.Testing & ValidationCreate and run verification scripts to confirm restricted data is fully excluded.Conduct regression testing to ensure system accuracy, reliability, and compliance.DocumentationPrepare detailed documentation enabling external teams to clone and configure the application within their own environments.Provide step-by-step instructions for integrations, application setup, and environment readiness.Qualifications5 years of experience with LIMS, SQL, and Oracle.Strong LIMS development and configuration skills—LabVantage v8 preferred.Solid understanding of build and deployment processes.Advanced experience with Java modules and frameworks (Web Services, Hibernate, JMS).Experience with Java EE servers such as Oracle WebLogic, Red Hat JBoss, or IBM WebSphere.Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries (Oracle or MS SQL).Experience with Jasper Reports is a plus.Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Company Description• Come get Swoon’d!! • Swoon handles the staffing need of over 80 Fortune 500 clients. • We have won Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation Award 6 years in a row. • Swoon was also awarded the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the US from 2016 – 2020.
