Swoon is actively hiring a Controls Engineer to join the team!
What will your day-to-day will look like?
- Design, modify, develop, write, convert, and implement software for generator control switchgear HMI applications.
- Configure, program, and test HMI hardware.
- Work with Power System Engineers to validate and correct HMI programming.
- Provide remote support for HMI installation and troubleshoot HMI issues in the field.
- Collaborate closely with the HMI team under the supervision of the AES HMI Manager.
- Partner extensively with the Power System Engineering team to test and validate HMI software development.
What's Required
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science with 1-3 years of experience, or equivalent. Associate degree accepted with 4 years of experience. Master's degrees not accepted. Relevant internships may be considered.
- Experience withHMI software, such as:
- FactoryTalk
- RSView
- Vijeo
- Crimson
- Kepware
- EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert
