Assistant Manager Garden Center/Nursery (with Propagation-Social Media emphasis)

We are looking for an Assistant Manager (retail) to help run the daily affairs of our business.

Details of our position:

-Assistant Manager position with intent to quickly move to a full manager position with training and experience...

- We offer full time /year round employment (M-Sat./ Some seasonal Sundays)

- Starting pay/salary/hourly is somewhat open and based on experience and other criteria

- Additional increases are possible (with experience, future sales bonuses...)

- This position assists in managing the daily affairs (general sales, Propagation-we will train),plant maintenance, supervising others, scheduling, sales calls, help w/ manage social media(s)

- You must be willing to occasionally work out in all weather conditions (sun, rain, wind cold, bugs...)

- Need to be able to pick up 1 to 60lbs /- (loading heavy plants on occasion)

- Dependable transportation is required please

- Any applicant must be drama/drug free !

- You must be able to be self motivated and have strong problem solving abilities

- A strong work ethic /good attitude is required :)

- We are looking for someone who can have a positive interaction with each of our customers throughout the seasons.

- We are looking for someone that is organized, dependable, and honest.

- We are willing to train the right person with No Plant Experience, but experience with plants/trees/shrub names/etc... is a bonus and pays more to start :). Technology/ Social media general knowledge is great, but we will train the right person on this as well. The successful candidate for this position will be in charge of our propagation program (we will train you :). There is plenty of room for pay increases with this position based on your effort! Job Type: $24,000/$27,500 to start (more possible with existing knowledge.) Future quarterly sales bonuses are possible. Future base pay increases are possible based on your efforts! If you would rather start as an hourly employee that is negotiable as well...
