We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of sitters who share our passion for childcare excellence.
Position Overview:
As a Childcare Sitter at SWLA Sitters, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of the children under your care. You will provide professional and personalized childcare services to families in the Southwest Louisiana area. This is a contract (1099) position.
Availability Needed
We are looking for a nanny who can work the following PERMANENT SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 9am-3pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide reliable and compassionate childcare to children of all ages, including infants and those with special needs or disabilities.
- Maintain a safe and engaging environment during childcare assignments.
- Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures for the well-being of children.
- Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed during childcare assignments.
- Tailor childcare experiences to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Promote healthy eating habits by offering nutritious snacks and meals.
- Uphold professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy in all interactions.
- Ensure compliance with SWLA Sitters' policies, including safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 17 years.
- MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
- Successful completion of a federal background check and Child Protective Services (CPS) check (REQUIRED).
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (REQUIRED).
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Minimum of one year of documented childcare experience.
- Experience with children of all ages, including infants.
- Experience in caring for children with disabilities is a plus.
