Description
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable evenings and weekends Custodian to join our team at Shooters World to clean the storefront and offices on a scheduled basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and displays.
- Empty and clean trash cans throughout the store, offices, and break room.
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
- Clean and vacuum door mats and rugs.
- Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and common areas.
- Complete a deep clean of the refrigerators on a bi-monthly basis.
- Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the General Manager.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is necessary.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English is required to ensure effective communication with customers and staff.
