Job Description
Switzerland Inn Resort has an opportunity for a Host/Hostess! Located in Little Switzerland, North Carolina, Switzerland Inn offers a one-of-a-kind locale for locally sourced cuisine in a relaxed, mountainside atmosphere. With indoor dining options, you can take in panoramic views of the mountains in a uniquely scenic setting, complemented by exciting twists on Southern favorites.
As the Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for contributing to customer satisfaction by welcoming and promptly seating each customer in a professional and courteous manner. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing reservations by accepting them in person or phone and then booking them into our system; answer guest questions and inquiries regarding menu items or hours of operations; assist service staff with sidework such as place settings, clearing tables, or running food to tables.
The ideal candidate will preferably have one to two (1-2) years of previous restaurant experience; capability to multitask and work in high-volume environment; ablity to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
