What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Account Manager position at SwitchBox?
Technical Account Manager
About SwitchBox
SwitchBox is an engineering consulting firm focused on complex hardware and software systems in electrification, mobility, and advanced technology. We help customers design, prototype, and validate systems such as EV powertrains, control systems, and embedded electronics.
Role overview
The Technical Account Manager is a customer facing sales support role that combines organization, communication, and light technical context. You will help manage our sales pipeline in HubSpot, coordinate follow ups for key accounts, turn leadership ideas into clear emails and summaries, and support conferences and events. This is a non quota, non commission role that supports business development rather than owning a sales target.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable talking with customers, strong in written communication, and able to learn enough about our technical work to describe it accurately at a high level. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be curious and comfortable around technical topics.
