My client is an established Providence law firm with longstanding client relationships, consistent deal flow, and a reputation for providing responsive, practical counsel.
We are seeking an Associate Corporate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience who can step into an active practice and immediately contribute to existing client work. This is an opportunity for an attorney who enjoys being busy, taking ownership of matters, working directly with clients, and helping transactions move efficiently from start to finish.
As a smaller firm, their associates have meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced attorneys while taking an active role in managing matters and supporting the firm’s established client base.

· Business mergers and acquisitions (both asset and stock)
· General corporate and business matters
· Managing transactions and client matters from initial engagement through closing
· Working directly with clients, CPAs, lenders, and other professional advisors
· Managing multiple active matters and helping move existing client work forward efficiently
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 3–5 years of relevant corporate and transactional legal experience
· Demonstrated experience with corporate real estate transactions and closings
· Active admission to practice law in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island
· Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate and transactional documents
· Ability to manage multiple active matters, deadlines, and closings
· Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
· Ability to take ownership of matters and bring them through to completion
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Collaborative, hands-on approach and willingness to contribute where needed within a smaller firm environment

· Familiarity with estate planning software or web-based drafting platforms
Candidates do not need to be estate planning specialists. The firm is particularly interested in strong corporate attorneys who have some exposure and experience with estate planning and are comfortable supporting this work as part of a broader practice.
COMPENSATION
Base salary range is $100,000–$125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
