Job Summary

Central Load Control Agent is responsible for preparing and executing accurate load planning and weight & balance for freighter aircraft operations, ensuring all aircraft are loaded safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and carrier-specific requirements. This is a hands-on operational role that supports real-time flight departures, often during overnight and irregular hours aligned with freighter schedules.

The expected pay rate is $28.00/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.

Your activities

• Prepare detailed load plans and weight & balance documentation for freighter aircraft.
• Calculate aircraft center of gravity (CG), trim, and weight limits using manual methods or approved software.
• Coordinate with ramp and warehouse teams to ensure cargo is positioned according to the final load plan.
• Create and verify Load Sheets, Trim Sheets, and NOTOC as required.
• Validate that all cargo is loaded within aircraft structural limitations (floor loads, contours, etc.).
• Perform final load check to confirm cargo is loaded as planned.
• Communicate final load plan and documents to flight crew before departure.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, signed, and filed in accordance with airline and regulatory standards.
• Maintain up-to-date qualifications in weight & balance, freighter operations, and dangerous goods handling.
  
  

Your profile

• High school diploma or GED required; aviation coursework or certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of weight & balance or load planning experience, preferably with freighter aircraft.
• Familiarity with WinLoads or other aircraft load planning software is a strong plus.
• Must understand aircraft loading principles, CG/trim, and structural limitations.
• Dangerous Goods by Air (IATA/ICAO) certification preferred.
• Must have an extremely flexible schedule — this position follows freighter flight schedules, which often involve irregular hours, delays, and overnight or early morning operations.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work independently under pressure in time-sensitive operational environments.
