Job Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused Lounge Agent, Server (21+) to deliver exceptional hospitality by greeting guests, replenishing food and beverage stations, serving drinks from our fully tendered bar, and maintaining lounge cleanliness and organization in our fast-paced airport environment. The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays, and the physical capability to stand for extended shifts while lifting up to 50 lbs. Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage or customer service is preferred.
The expected pay rate is $24/hour. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
Greet and engage customers with a smile in accordance with hospitality standards
Replenish merchandizers and other stations with food and snacks as needed
Regularly check the drinks stations and maintain proper stock levels
Communicate with BOH when stock is running low
Serve beer, wine and other beverages from our fully tendered bar
Buss and sanitize tables, wash dishes and dispose of trash following all SOPs
Clean and wipe down surfaces, maintain an organized lounge area, and ensure cleanliness in compliance with health and safety regulations
Sweep, mop and vacuum floors as needed or instructed
Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and organization of inventory
Above all, deliver exceptional customer service with every guest interaction
Bid passengers a farewell and encourage their return
Other duties as assigned
Your profile
Lounge agents must be 21 years of age or older
Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage or customer service preferred
Good command of the English language both verbal and written
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation to and from the airport
Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant type setting
Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift (8-10 hrs.); walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching
Positive attitude, excellent communication and willingness to get along with co-workers and work as a team
Ability to pass a 10 yr. federal background check
Food Handler’s license and Responsible Beverage Service license or the ability to obtain
Willingness to work early mornings, late nights and/or weekends and holidays
Professional personality and strong customer service knowledge
