SWISSGEAR Brand Copywriter/Storyteller (In-House | Full-Time)
📍 Pompano Beach, FL
Reports to: Brand Director
Group III International (SWISSGEAR) is hiring an in-house Brand Copywriter/Storyteller to join our internal team and help shape how our products and brand come to life across digital, retail, and marketing channels. This is not a freelance or agency role. You’ll work closely with product, design, e-commerce, and marketing teams to create clear, compelling copy that drives conversion while staying true to our brand voice.
Brand Voice & Messaging
• Own and evolve a consistent brand voice rooted in our 30-year heritage and modern direction
• Turn technical features and product specs into clear consumer benefits
• Ensure tone consistency across packaging, digital, and retail environments
Product & Retail Copywriting
• Write benefit-driven product descriptions for luggage, backpacks, accessories, and new collections
• Translate design and spec documents into consumer-friendly copy
• Create platform-specific content for Amazon, Walmart, Target, Costco, and other partners
• Develop PDP copy variations for A/B testing, seasonal refreshes, and SEO
• Proactively suggest keyword and synonym expansions for Shopify Search & Discovery
Digital, Ads & Social
• Write homepage, category, landing page, and PDP storytelling copy
• Develop short-form ad copy for Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and display
• Create social captions, hooks, and messaging frameworks for short-form video and UGC
• Collaborate with creative and video teams on scripts for brand and promotional content
Email & Content Marketing
• Write campaign and lifecycle email copy for launches, promotions, and automated flows
• Develop blog and travel-focused editorial content supporting SEO and brand authority
• Contribute to loyalty and retention messaging, including Insider Rewards initiatives
Collaboration & Quality
• Partner closely with product, design, marketing, and onboarding teams
• Support seasonal campaigns, packaging updates, and in-store signage
• Proof and QA all copy for clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency
• 3 years of copywriting experience (consumer goods, retail, lifestyle, or e-com preferred)
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify technical details
• Experience with SEO, DTC best practices, and retail partner copy standards
• Familiarity with CMS tools, Asana, Notion, or similar platforms is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred
• In-house position with direct ownership and creative influence
• Work on physical products with real retail and digital scale
• Collaborate closely with internal teams rather than working through an agency layer
• Opportunity to shape brand voice across DTC, marketplaces, packaging, and marketing
Salary Range: $60,000–$80,000 (DOE)
