The Groundskeeper (Houseman) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas throughout the property. This role ensures that residents and guests experience a well-kept, safe, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain property standards for cleanliness in all public areas.
- Clean and service assigned areas on schedule, including hallways, stairwells, and common spaces.
- Ensure property grounds are clean, landscaped, and free of debris.
- Clean and maintain pool and playground areas.
- Clean the administrative office and its restroom.
- Replenish restroom and pool supplies as needed.
- Perform sweeping, vacuuming, and refuse disposal.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, including cross-training opportunities.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
- Prior housekeeping or groundskeeping experience is helpful.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to property standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
