- 5 years of Professional Liability underwriting experience, with a strong track record of sound risk selection and portfolio management
- Demonstrated expertise in underwriting Miscellaneous Professional Liability and/or Construction Professional Liability risks
- Established broker network within the professional liability insurance marketplace, with a proven ability to develop and grow profitable broker relationships
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to assess complex risk exposures, evaluate pricing adequacy, and structure coverage solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate underwriting positions and build trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working with both retail and wholesale broker distribution channels
- Familiarity with emerging trends and evolving risk landscapes within the professional liability space
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-moving market environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative and proactive approach to business development
