Position Summary: The Warehouse Team Lead II serves as a key leader within the warehouse, guiding and supporting a team of 3-5 warehouse associates. This role is crucial in driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to understand Standardized Work for labor, equipment, and material and use it to achieve team safety, productivity, quality, and delivery targets.
- Practical knowledge of equipment, both technical and manual, needed to perform job duties, an experienced problem solver with an understanding of escalation procedures.
- Able to quickly master all team skills and train those skills to individual team members.
- Continually assesses the work environment for safety and problems.
- Helps maintain healthy communication between management and the team.
- A high level of responsibility, integrity, discipline, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit.

- Responsible for inventory qty reporting in the appropriate slot throughout the standard work process.
- Ability to coordinate with other departments, CSM (client service manager), and all levels of management using Google Tracker and Calendar.
- Monitor shipments of products, verify proper documentation, maintain shipment records, report, and solve discrepancies.
- Managing inventory control by ensuring the shipments are completed on time for pre-loading, running IOH (inventory on hand) reports, daily approved-stock reports, and investigating reasons thereof.
- Lead and conduct inventory, cycle counts, monthly audits, research, and resolve all inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Able to run a successful Gemba Walk
- Able to conduct NCR investigation and complete investigation reports.
- Able to prepare and complete Injury Investigation Reports.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to accurately calculate quantities and perform basic inventory functions.
- Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using the Swiss American ERP system, including handheld scanner operation.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
