What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Picking Associate position at Swiss American CDMO Career Center?
1st Shift: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Hourly Rate: $14.18 , plus benefits
Position Summary: Accurately selects, packs, and ships finished goods or raw materials according to what is required from a provided picking list.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Picks product using the SA AWS system following all applicable SOP’s.
- Confirms correct items and quantities per picking ticket or additional documentation.
- Places product on provided cart or pallet in an organized fashion.
- Identifies inventory issues and communicates these to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
- Generates packing lists/manifests, BOLs, and arranges for transportation.
- Is aware of and identifies hazardous materials and ensures safe and appropriate transportation of hazardous materials.
- Promptly notify supervisor or warehouse manager of any backorders.
- Maintains accurate inventory control by following all SOPs and processes and participates in inventory counts.
- Keeps and maintains all required records of materials sent.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Keeps their respective area of the warehouse clean and orderly.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
