What does a Sr. Network Architect do at Swire Coca - Cola?

The Network Architect collaborates with business partners, project teams, and leadership to translate requirements into architectural designs, leveraging industry standards and enterprise frameworks such as LeanIX and TOGAF. This role is also key to driving modernization by identifying opportunities for automation, AI‑enabled operations, and continuous improvement across the network environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high‑quality network architecture diagrams, standards, specifications, and reference models
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, high‑performing network architectures
- Research emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date “as‑built” documentation
- Provide architectural guidance and support across IT projects and SLP (Service Lifecycle Process) initiatives
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate requirements
- Present architectural proposals and decisions to leadership for review
- Support implementation teams to ensure solutions align with approved designs
- Apply LeanIX and TOGAF frameworks to support enterprise architecture governance and lifecycle management
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of network standards, policies, and best practices
- Ensure architectures meet organizational criteria for security, resiliency, compliance, and performance
- Identify opportunities to automate network operations and improve architectural efficiency
- Contribute to developing and integrating AI agents within the network capability stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience required
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, cloud networking certifications) preferred
- TOGAF certification is a plus. preferred
- ITIL 4 certification (Foundation or higher) preferred
- 6 years of experience in network engineering, design, or architecture roles. required
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, firewalls). required
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP). required
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and platforms (LeanIX preferred) required
- Experience with network automation (Ansible, Terraform, Python/PowerShell). preferred
- Exposure to AIOps or AI‑driven network management platforms. preferred
- Background working in large, distributed enterprise environments. preferred
- Deep understanding of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, DNS/DHCP, VLANs, QoS
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and tools
- Proficiency with architecture and documentation tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, architectural, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional project teams
