What does the Security Director do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The Security Director leads a collaborative team of Security Managers across a large domestic territory to develop and facilitate a comprehensive Workplace Protection Program that supports all Swire Coca-Cola associates, assets, and business practices. We are looking for a leader to align all those program initiatives throughout the entire enterprise. Focused on guiding their team, the Security Director will develop and standardize enhanced security procedures, reduce losses, mitigate risk, and evolve a culture of security-centric practices and awareness throughout Swire Coca-Cola.
Responsibilities:
- Advises the senior management team on all security related issues and activities.
- Supports the development of annual security-centric planning, budgeting, and acquisition / implementation activities.
- Leads the collaboration effort between the Security Manager Team and other internal function groups in successfully identifying, investigating, and mitigating economic loss and other risks to the Company.
- Develops and facilitates a Company-wide Standardized Physical Security Program, along with a complementary Safe Workplace Program in compliance with industry standards and State laws.
- Advances and supports the Security Team in providing and tracking ongoing Programs training, interventions, and other security-centric activities.
- Develops and sustains strategic liaison with Law Enforcement and Regulatory agencies across the territory, and peers in the corporate security industry to share and discuss and best practices.
- Acts as a Player/Coach within the Security Team, taking on responsibilities for successfully undertaking and managing investigations and reporting on any security-centric matter as needed.
- Navigates ambiguity and exercises a high degree of autonomy in decision making, while adapting to and championing change.
- Develops and implements solid business and security-centric value measure metrics, trending, and benchmarking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
- 10 progressive security management or law enforcement / military experience required.
- 10 years' experience conducting and managing complex internal investigations required.
- 5 years' experience with implementing and / or managing Physical Security systems.
- 3 years of Bottling Industry or other CPG / Manufacturing Industry Security leader / management experience preferred.
- Security certifications including CPP, PSP or CFE preferred.
- Up to 50% Travel.
