Key Responsibilities
- Operate grinding mills within optimal safety, quality, and performance parameters.
- Feed crude ore to mills and maintain adequate availability of the proper grade in feed bins.
- Perform periodic sampling of ground product and monitor plant equipment.
- Transfer finished product into designated holding tanks.
- Conduct operator maintenance, including pre-operation inspections and ongoing equipment monitoring.
- Maintain mill and compressor oil levels and ensure proper operating conditions.
- Maintain effective communication with the Lab Technician to stay informed of process test results.
- Adjust mill equipment settings to achieve quality and cost-effective production.
