Summary
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst supports and enhances end-to-end supply chain operations—from procurement through distribution. This role focuses on accurate demand forecasting, optimal inventory management, and continuous process improvement to ensure operational efficiency, cost reduction, and consistent product availability.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Analyze sales data and trends to forecast demand accurately.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations.
Supply Chain Optimization
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to reduce costs, lead times, and systemic inefficiencies.
Distribution Coordination
- Coordinate delivery schedules and logistics workflows to support timely and accurateorder fulfillment.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize analytical tools to monitor KPIs, evaluate performance, and deliver actionable insights to leadership teams.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with supply chain objectives.
Process & Risk Management
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related functions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and supply chain management tools.
- Preferred: APICS certification, experience with Tableau or Power BI, and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
