Seasonal Recruiting Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time | Seasonal July through December

Location: Portland, OR (Onsite)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends as business needs require.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized Seasonal Recruiting Coordinator to support high-volume hiring during our peak season. This role plays a key part in recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling hundreds of seasonal associates while serving as a positive ambassador in the local community.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has experience managing multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.

This position is primarily onsite in Portland, Oregon. Limited remote work may become available later in the season based on business needs but is not guaranteed.

What You'll Do

Recruiting and Community Outreach

• Represent our company at local job fairs and hiring events.
• Distribute recruiting materials throughout the community to generate new applicants.
• Help grow and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
• Assist candidates through the application and hiring process.
  
  

Candidate Engagement and Onboarding

• Conduct outbound calls to confirm new hire start dates.
• Fill open positions by replacing candidates who decline offers or fail to report.
• Assist new associates with onboarding and employment documentation onsite.
• Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed before start dates.
  
  

Scheduling and Workforce Coordination

• Assign new hires to positions using the Swipejobs platform.
• Update candidate rosters and maintain accurate employee records.
• Add start dates and alternate IDs to tracking spreadsheets.
• Match candidates to departments and positions based on qualifications and staffing needs.
  
  

Administrative Support

• Maintain recruiting spreadsheets and workforce reports.
• Audit staffing reports weekly to ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor pending onboarding items and ensure all requirements are completed on time.
• Assist with additional recruiting and staffing projects throughout the peak season.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of high-volume recruiting experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to confidently communicate by phone in both languages.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large spreadsheets and data sets.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, HR, or workforce management is strongly preferred.
