Job Description:

Operations Analyst (Hybrid) - $45/Hour

Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour

Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for permanent hire based on performance)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour workday (flexible start time between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Start Date: June 2026

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to support a growing residential energy program focused on innovative technology and customer engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, solving operational challenges, and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.

The position combines hands-on operational support with continuous process improvement initiatives. You'll play a key role in maintaining daily program operations while helping develop scalable solutions for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management

• Execute and support critical operational processes, including eligibility reviews, verification checks, invoice reconciliation, and inquiry management.
• Monitor and manage program workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support the implementation and scaling of new program initiatives.
  
  

Customer Support and Communication

• Conduct outreach to customers via phone and email regarding enrollment follow-ups, account verification, dispute resolution, and program-related inquiries.
• Maintain professional communication and deliver excellent customer service.
  
  

Process Improvement and Automation

• Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with technology and digital product teams to support automation initiatives, including AI-driven solutions.
• Assist in developing scalable workflows and operational best practices.
  
  

Reporting and Collaboration

• Analyze data and generate insights to support operational decision-making.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot data discrepancies and improve reporting processes.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience in operations, analytics, consulting, technology, energy, or a related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleansing activities.
• Proficiency with Python for data analysis.
• Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage repetitive processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Query and Power Automate.
• Salesforce or other CRM platform experience.
• Ability to interpret technical reports and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Comfortable learning and adopting new technologies.
• Experience with electric vehicle (EV) charging data, telematics, or trend analysis.
• Familiarity with utility operations, managed charging programs, or demand response initiatives.
