Job Description:
We are currently hiring for a Member Service Representative. After a permanent hire, we offer paid parking (we pay parking for temps, as well), health, dental, and vision insurance for employees, paid federal holidays, and 401k matching. Primary duties entail receiving and processing member transactions. Specific duties include opening new accounts and maintaining member records. Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants requiring work authorization or visas for the positions currently available. Responsibilities:
- Handle telephone inquiries from members.
- Provide teller services to members including: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers. Sell money orders.
- Process daily mail deposits, loan payments, and mail members' receipts.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of the day.
- Open, log, and distribute incoming mail.
- Handle outgoing mail, operate postage meter, and maintain meter records.
- Assist with promotional mailings.
- Light filing, data entry, and bookkeeping duties.
- Develop a good working knowledge of the credit union’s data processing system.
- Assist in any area as directed in a relief capacity.
- Perform any other various and sundry duties, as deemed necessary by the Operations Manager or Branch Manager, whichever applies.
