We are Hiring Immediately for a Machine Operator position!

The Machinist is responsible for the planning, setup, operation, and adjustment of both manual and CNC-controlled vertical lathes. This position plays a critical role in the production of gasket and seal products, utilizing detailed work orders and technical drawings to ensure precision and quality.

Essential Functions:

• Operate vertical lathes and other shop equipment to machine gaskets and seals.
• Set up and adjust machinery based on work orders and blueprints.
• Measure machined components using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Manage and prioritize tasks based on production schedules and routing instructions.
• Use the Oracle system to document and transact completed components to the next production phase.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a vertical lathe.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting work orders and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

This is a physically demanding position that involves:

• Standing for extended periods (over 8 hours).
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.
• Operating machinery with precision and control.
• Lifting and transporting materials up to 35 pounds.
