Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 per year (Depending on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented EPA Specialist with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in NPDES compliance, particularly under Region 6 Permit GMG290000. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting environmental regulatory compliance activities, ensuring all permits, reports, and related tasks meet state and federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and apply NPDES Region 6 GMG290000 permit requirements.
• Prepare and submit Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs), Notices of Intent (NOIs), and Notices of Termination (NOTs) in compliance with EPA standards.
• Monitor and manage multiple permit timelines and regulatory deadlines.
• Conduct environmental regulatory research and present findings in a clear and professional manner.
• Collaborate with state and federal agencies to address and resolve compliance matters.
• Develop solutions to environmental compliance challenges.
• Work in coordination with Office of Compliance (OOC) or other regulatory bodies as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of direct experience with NPDES permits (required).
• Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), especially environmental and water regulations.
• Demonstrated experience working with or within EPA Region 6 or relevant state environmental departments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
