Customer Service / Sales Support Representative

Location: Lansing, MI

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service / Sales Support Representative to join a fast-paced team. This position provides administrative and sales support while ensuring exceptional customer service and accurate order processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales team by providing information, reports, and customer assistance.
• Manage customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Enter customer orders accurately and verify all order details.
• Update and maintain customer records and profiles.
• Process payments and utilize credit card authorization procedures when applicable.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and sales tracking reports.
• Compile data and assist with sales presentations.
• Investigate and resolve order, inventory, and customer service issues.
• Print, assemble, and distribute orders according to established guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Assist other customer service functions as needed.
• Meet productivity and accuracy goals while maintaining excellent customer service.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 5 years of customer service, sales support, or administrative experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
