The Social Media Manager (contractor) will assist with driving social media and marketing efforts.
This is a contract role for 6 months with the possibility of extending up to a year.
Work schedule : 9 : 00 am EST 5 : 00 pm EST
Key Responsibilities :
Plans, creates and curates engaging social posts with content that educates and
inspires our audiences across social media platforms.
Drives day-to-day efforts for the social media content library for associates, including content creation and maintenance (35 articles / month), user growth and support (i.e., business training), as well as creates a regular cadence of communications to a broad network of users.
Assists with the creation and execution of social media campaigns, helping
Monitors, analyzes and reports on social media activity, driving actionable insights for channel and content optimization.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with overarching business goals and messaging. Manages approvals and feedback from key stakeholders.
Qualifications :
5 years of experience in social media management, with experience working in a highly regulated environment a plus
Excellent copywriting, editing and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience with project management and content management software
Proficiency in social media tools, platforms, best practices and trends
Experience with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with AP Style a plus
Portfolio showcasing successful social content samples
Education :
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
