What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLAYER DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE - PART-TIME position at SWINOMISH CASINO & LODGE?
Responsible for the quality of service offered to guests. Maintains relationships with guests and markets our gaming product to potential guests. Enhances the growth of gaming revenues by developing a hosted customer base. Effectively handles guest inquiries and discrepancies efficiently and courteously. Must be able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment regarding guest needs, player tracking, and marketing functions. Acts as support for the Player Development department in all guest services-related duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all areas of player contact;
- Solicit existing and new guests through telephone, personal contact, special events, email, and direct messages to enhance the value and quality of the player database.
- Assist with the organization and execution of special services and events, including food, beverage, lodging, entertainment, and transportation to attain maximum possible attendance and maximum play;
- Assist in the planning and organizing of "target" events for target guests as assigned;
- Communicate as appropriate with the Department Manager or designee any feedback received from guests;
- Contact new and inactive guests when assigned;
- Keep current on promotions conducted at the establishment and provide accurate information to all inquiries regarding such events;
- Greets and assists guests at the guest services desk and other facility locations where special promotional events require additional hospitality service.
- Conducts and assists in promotional events, including drawings, game shows, tournaments, and entertainment
- Provide information regarding services, such as food, beverage, gaming, and transportation services;
- Explain benefits to new guests and enroll those interested;
- Perform data entry and related tasks;
- Maintain a log of pertinent information, situations, or activities;
- Focus on Player Development and retention;
- Host players to offsite events;
- Drive players to offsite excursions;
- Meet requirements to enter local stadiums/arenas/concert venues;
- Maintain a clean, organized work area;
- Assists with promotional drawings and events
- Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an outgoing personality and strong communication skills. Knowledge of all aspects of Casino gaming and host liquor laws is required. Prior experience with multi-line telephones and computer skills is desired. Able to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately. Experience working with the public and providing a professional image is a must.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or employees of the organization
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have mature judgment and the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Class III Gaming License; TIPS Certification
