Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Baseball Instructor or youth travel baseball coach, where your passion for sports and dedication to youth development will inspire aspiring athletes to reach their full potential. Duties
- Design and deliver comprehensive baseball training programs tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Lead practice drills focusing on batting, pitching, fielding, and game strategies to improve technical skills
- Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and adherence to health guidelines
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding participant development and behavior management
- Coordinate with other sports instructors to integrate cross-training activities such as soccer or basketball when appropriate
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sports coaching, team leadership, or physical education instruction
- Demonstrated knowledge of baseball techniques, rules, and gameplay strategies
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required; AED operation knowledge preferred
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Relevant background in sports-specific training instruction
