Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are hygienic and organized.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting the kitchen team with basic food handling.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are properly cleaned and ready for service.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service periods.
- Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including bussing, food preparation, and dishwashing procedures.
- Experience with banquet or catering environments is a plus.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and maintain sanitation standards.
- Basic cooking skills or culinary experience preferred but not required.
