FIRST U.S. STORE OPENING

SWIMS is seeking a client-focused, hands-on, and entrepreneurial leader to help launch and manage of our first U.S. retail location in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This is a unique opportunity to help build a brand from the ground up in the U.S.

Previous retail management experience, paired with strong leadership and business instincts, will set you up for success in this role. We are especially interested in candidates who come from clientele-driven apparel, footwear, and specialty environments.

You will collaborate closely with U.S. leadership to help shape the store’s growth and contribute to the broader retail expansion strategy.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Store Manager of SWIMS at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of daily store operations while delivering an elevated customer experience, building a strong team culture, and helping establish SWIMS’ retail presence in the U.S. market.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Represent and communicate SWIMS values and philosophy to customers and team members
• Create and maintain a clientele-focused culture centered around service, wardrobing, and long-term relationship building
• Develop, execute, and continuously improve operational activities to meet the store’s financial targets, achieve customer experience goals, and develop growth opportunities
• Develop and coordinate store events with mall management and the Marketing team
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing store team
• Manage daily scheduling, payroll, staffing, and store coverage needs
• Organize and execute product knowledge and seasonal training sessions to ensure the team confidently communicates product features, styling, and brand storytelling
• Create, implement, and improve procedures to protect company inventory and assets while reducing operational risk and liability
• Maintain exceptional visual presentation, merchandising, cleanliness, and overall store standards
• Maintain strong CRM discipline and client capture standards while coaching the team to build meaningful customer relationships and repeat business
• Develop and maintain strong ties with mall leadership and other mall managers at peer brands to stay in the know of business trends and opportunities
• Participate and manage pre-store opening activities and launch event, including store and systems set-up, staff recruitment and hiring, marketing coordination, and troubleshooting

WHO YOU ARE

• 3 years of retail management experience within an operationally strong retail environment; specialty or luxury apparel, footwear, or highly client-focused environments preferred
• Comfortable leading from the sales floor in a highly hands-on retail environment; this is a small-format store where the Store Manager will actively sell and build customer relationships, and work alongside the team while also managing the business
• Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and excited by the opportunity to help build and grow SWIMS’ retail presence in the U.S.
• Passion for styling, wardrobing, and creating elevated customer experiences
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, and retain high-performing teams
• Highly organized with strong communication skills, follow-through, and attention to detail
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution; excited to participate in both pre-opening activities and post-launch adaptation as the business evolves
• Willing to work flexible retail hours, including weekends, holidays, and key business periods
