We are looking for a Sr. Programs Coordinator- (Northside locations) who wants to make a difference as the program leader on our pool deck. SwimRVA is committed to Drownproofing Richmond and needs your help to teach every child and every adult in the region to swim! Qualified candidates will have excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to cultivate strong relationships, loves to create engaging activities, while ensuring safety of our program participants. Previous swim instruction and / or competitive swimming experience preferred. This position will require non-traditional hours to include evenings, early mornings, and weekends. This position will serve as the lead of the SwimRVA Swim School deck operations as a part of a dynamic team. It will support and grow staff as the shift leader of the Swim School consistent with the Programs staff development process. The Sr. Programs Coordinator will work collaboratively as part of the Programs design team for providing members with quality service, programs and leadership thus helping SwimRVA achieve higher impact levels. The Sr. Programs Coordinator job duties :
- Deck coordination for swim instruction based programming.
Responsible for the daily operations of the SwimRVA Swim School programs
Assist with developing and training for Swim School coaches
Assist with business growth and attracting new customers.

This position will have duties at both SwimRVA-North and SwimRVA-Church Hill :

This position is a full-time hourly position that is overtime eligible. This position will require weekends as part of a four- or five-day work week.
