What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Coach/Instructor position at SwimGuru Coaching?
Looking to hire a Swim Coach or Instructor for beginners as well as for the proficient swimmer. Employee must meet majority of the following requirements:
*Has had prior swim coaching experience and/or experience with in water private and semi/private swim lessons.
*Swam competitively on swim team or has knowledge of all 4 strokes in competitive swimming.
*Can swim the length of the pool well, know all 4 strokes well, and is very comfortable in the water.
*Enjoys working with people, and young children.
*Has had experience working with special needs clients.
*Former WSI certification a plus, as well as being a former or current lifeguard.
Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
At the current time, we are still wearing masks/visors for private in water lessons. The swimmer will not be wearing masks, but the coaching staff will be.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Swim or swim coaching: 5 years (Required)
