Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction of new swimming pools, including excavation, framing, plumbing, and finishing work
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as seasonal opening and closings, cleaning filters, and inspecting equipment
- Have knowledge of swimming pool chemistry
- Install and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and salt chlorination systems using hand tools and power tools
- Use mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues with pool systems and execute effective repairs efficiently
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and safety documentation for each project or service visit
- Measuring and installing new safety covers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocol
- Work with customers to address any issues found during service calls
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance and repair roles; prior experience with pool construction is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Familiarity with pool cleaning procedures and routine maintenance practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and other basic equipment; experience with power tools is preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills that puts our customers first
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel between job sites as needed in provided company vehicle

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
