Swim Club Management Group of Charlotte, Inc. has an immediate opening for the full-time position of Repair Technician in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We are a leading aquatics company located in Greater Charlotte, NC area seeking a swimming pool repair technician who has at least 6 or more years of experience. The Repair Technician will be responsible to troubleshoot, complete, facilitate, and oversee all repairs for the company’s clients and communicate the resolutions to management and client (if necessary).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· 5 years or more experience in swimming pool repairs or similar ( Ex. HVAC or Auto Mechanic)
· Knowledge of pool pumps, motors, filters, heaters, computerized control panels, and other related swimming pool equipment.
Maintain direct communication with Management overseeing facilities to determine with repairs need to be made and prioritize accordingly.
· Must have experience with plumbing and basic knowledge of electrical
Approve vendor billing and invoice clients in coordination with Management.
· Abide by Company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be interested in working with people of all backgrounds and cultures.
· Driver’s License in good standing.
· Ability to work in hot/humid summer climates and winter climates.
· Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite software.
· Ability to pass a background check which may include, but is not limited to, criminal, DMV, credit, previous employment, education and personal references as permitted by federal and state law.
· Must be highly organized and possess a high level of communication skills.
· Ability to pass a mandatory and potential random drug screens, per company policy as permitted by federal and state law.
· Ability to work weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
· The ability to lift 60 lbs.
· Diligent, reliable team player with a positive attitude.
COMPENSATION:
· Compensation is based on experience and demonstrated skill set
· Benefits available to full-time employees including shared expense health insurance, dental and retirement plan. Other voluntary plans available.
